Privacy Policy

The short version
The Nicetats editor runs in your browser. The photos and designs you edit are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. There are no accounts and no login. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads inside the editor.
Photos and designs in the editor
Editing — placement, blending, background removal, effects, AR preview — happens locally in your browser using on-device processing. Your body photos and tattoo designs never leave your device during editing. Closing the tab discards them.
No accounts
Nicetats has no user accounts — nothing requires a login, and we store no personal profiles. If optional free accounts ever launch (for example, to save your exports), this policy will be updated first.
Cookies, analytics and local storage
By default we set no cookies. If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics runs with IP anonymization to give us aggregate usage statistics — decline and nothing loads. We also use local storage on your device for small conveniences (your export form details, input-mode preference, and your cookie-banner choice). Details in the Cookie Policy.
Advertising (planned)
Nicetats is free and may in the future show ads (Google AdSense) on content pages like the homepage, guides, and FAQ — never inside the editor. Ad scripts will only load after you accept them in the cookie banner. When advertising goes live, this policy and the consent banner will be updated first, and EU/EEA visitors will get a Google-certified consent prompt as required.
Third-party services
The optional "Auto Realism" feature sends only anonymous numeric image statistics (no images) to our own server endpoint to pick adjustment presets. AR body tracking downloads an on-device model from a Google CDN the first time you use it; camera frames are processed locally and never uploaded.
